Principal's Message
From the Desk of Mrs. Williams...
Welcome to Petrolia Elementary School. We are off to another wonderful school year filled with fun and discovery learning. I'd like to say, thank you parents, for being involved with your child's education and placing importance on grades and conduct, since the two go hand-in-hand. Also, a huge thank you goes out to the Elementary/Jr. High PTCO for their ongoing effort to support both campuses throughout the school year. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You can visit the PTCO link of the elementary page to find out more.
The Petrolia Elementary teachers are dedicated to providing students with a rigorous and enriching curriculum that will prepare them for the next grade level and ensure success on state-mandated assessments. The dedication of our teachers is very evident as you walk down the halls of our campus and view the many outstanding work samples of our students. Our teachers collaborate and plan together in order to ensure consistency among the grade levels and provide ample opportunities for mastery of grade level skills. I greatly appreciate each member of the elementary staff and admire the way they work closely together to develop successful students. When you have a chance, let your child's teacher know how much you appreciate their time and effort in educating our youth.
We'd like to welcome you to our campus to have lunch with your child anytime. Please sign in at the principal's office or library when you arrive and pick up a visitor's badge. We are always delighted when parents visit our campus. I trust that your child is happy to be a student at Petrolia Elementary. However, if you ever have any concerns, please don't hesitate to come by or call the office at 524-3433. You can also email me at kim.williams@esc9.net. Also watch for my emails about upcoming events and pertinent information from time to time. If you don't receive emails, but would like to, send me a message, and I will gladly add you to my parent email list.
Have a wonderful year,
Kim Williams
